In the heart of Crmnica

The village of Bukovik belongs to Crmnica, a fruitful and rich region of Montenegro oriented towards agro-tourism and a beautiful and untouched environment. The specificity of Bukovik lies in the name of the winery itself, which is the buk or spring located in The water from this spring, filtered through massive Paštrovac boulders, is clean and refreshing with a perfect temperature of around 15 degrees.

In the heart of Bukovik is the Buk winery, which belongs to the Rajković family. Two houses, cascades of grape vines, a brand new winery facility and a property that overlooks Lake Skadar and the sharp outlines of Prokletije in the background.

Family Heritage

Although the winery of the Rajković family has officially existed since 2010, the tradition, heritage and region that shaped generations of grape and wine connoisseurs has a much longer duration. Somehow, the kilometers that the ancestors traveled by pushing home-made wine in sacks on a donkey for the famous Crmnica tavern in Cetinje, the years of experience, learning and work of generations of the Rajković family and all 7,500 crouches that today grow in the Bukovica sun speak from the glass.

Although before 2010, when the BUK winery officially started its work, it was not possible to talk about serious production and life from wine, three generations are responsible for the idea and love for wine and viticulture. The most deserving is Đorđije (Đoko) Rajković, who passed on the family tradition to his son, Miloš, the owner of the winery.
